These terms govern your use of FoodHam.com. By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. About us

FoodHam.com is an independent UK culinary resource providing recipes, meal-prep guides and supermarket budget content for general educational purposes. Contact: hello@foodham.com.

2. Educational content only — not professional advice

All recipes, nutritional information and meal plans on this site are provided for general information and education only. They are not medical, dietary, nutritional or financial advice. Nothing on this site creates a professional-client relationship.

  • If you have a medical condition, food allergy, or specific dietary needs, consult a qualified health professional before following any recipe or meal plan.
  • Weight-loss or “slimming” content describes the authors’ cooking approach, not a guaranteed outcome. Individual results vary.

3. Cook at your own risk — food safety

You are responsible for safe food handling in your own kitchen. Always:

  • Cook meat, poultry and eggs to safe internal temperatures and check with a food thermometer where possible.
  • Cool cooked food promptly, refrigerate within two hours, and follow recommended fridge (up to 3–4 days for most cooked dishes) and freezer storage times.
  • Defrost frozen food safely in the fridge, and never refreeze thawed raw meat.

We are not liable for food-borne illness or any harm resulting from preparing, storing or consuming food based on our content.

4. Prices and availability

All prices (£ GBP) are estimates based on our research at the time of writing and will change. Supermarket ranges, promotions and stock vary by store and region. Always check the current shelf price before you shop. Estimated per-portion costs are guides, not guarantees.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes the rights of others.
  • Attempt to disrupt the site, probe its security, scrape it aggressively, or circumvent any access controls.
  • Republish our content as your own. You may share links to our articles and quote short excerpts with clear attribution and a link back, but wholesale copying — including republishing full recipes without permission — is not permitted.
  • Submit spam, abusive, defamorous or unlawful material through our contact forms.

Unless stated otherwise, the text, layout and original images on FoodHam.com are our copyright. You may share links to our articles freely, and quote short excerpts with clear attribution and a link back, but you may not republish our articles in full, scrape the site systematically, or present our content as your own. Supermarket and brand names mentioned in articles belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively only.

If you send us a recipe idea, tip or correction, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use, adapt and publish it on the site (with credit where appropriate). You confirm you have the right to share it.

7. Advertising and affiliate disclosure

This site displays advertising (including Google AdSense) and may include affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Advertising does not influence our editorial content or recipe testing.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FoodHam.com and its contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content — including, without limitation, costs of ingredients purchased, meals that don’t turn out as hoped, or appliance energy costs differing from our estimates. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Service availability

We aim to keep the site available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or change parts of the site (for example, during maintenance) without notice.

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date will change, and continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
